Holiday on Halsted

Start your holiday shopping at the annual Holiday on Halsted event. Hosted by the Northalsted Business Alliance, Holiday on Halsted takes place along Chicago’s lively North Halsted Street between Briar and Grace streets, and on Broadway from Grace Street to Irving Park Road (3100 North–4000 North). Shoppers will enjoy shopping specials, seasonal entertainment, decorations and giveaways from Halsted Street businesses.

Holiday on Halsted features wine tastings at more than a dozen retailers, as well as singing carolers and of course an appearance by out special guest star Santa Claus at our Holiday on Halsted tented headquarters at Halsted and Roscoe streets.

Start your visit at the Holiday on Halsted headquarters and enjoy complimentary refreshments including cookies, snacks, hot cocoa and cider. Holiday on Halsted participants also have the chance to win a number of prizes in our annual drawing, which in the past has included prizes such as airline tickets, restaurant gift certificates and goody bags.
